He's done it. After a contentious Masters Eight Tournament, Ash Ketchum has faced the strongest Champions the Pokemon world has to offer and won. He's officially recognized as the very best Trainer alive.
And while Ash has many strong Pokemon, he's released many of his strongest, and many of them are out of practice, while Red's team is regularly in combat and barely changing. So all things considered, Red is the safe bet.
They have to beat sixteen gym leaders as opposed to Red's eight and beating both the Johto and Kanto Leagues, which includes besting Blue, the new leader of Viridian City and former Pokémon League Champion. In every game, these three trainers all can beat Red, proving that they are all stronger than Red.

Ash is the first person who's ever even defeated more than two of Leon's Pokémon in a single battle.
Like his game counterpart, Blue in the manga also has a grandfather named Professor Oak who is the Pokémon Professor and an older sister named Daisy. He is the rival of Red, and the current Gym Leader of Viridian City.

What is Red's age?

As always, Red is accompanied by his trusty Pikachu. The Kanto starters are right beside it, with Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur proving to be some of the toughest aspects of the fight. Lapras and Snorlax round off the rest of the team, making it a who's who of Gen I talent.
The only Master in the games is Red. The only Master in the anime is Giovanni. The only Masters in the manga are Red, Blaine, Yellow, (Adventures) and Blue (Pocket Monsters).

Who is the 2nd strongest Pokémon?
Able to travel through dimensions at will and basically being the embodiment of anti-matter, this Pokémon is without a doubt the second most powerful Legendary Pokémon of all time. There is only one other Pokémon that could be considered more powerful than Giratina, and that's the one who created it.
Arceus is, without a doubt, the most powerful Legendary Pokémon. This Normal type Mythical Pokémon is the creator of the universe and thus the closest that the Pokémon world has to a god. When it hatched from its egg, Arceus brought with it time, space, and antimatter in the form of the Creation Trio.
Red is the most powerful trainer in the core game series (his Pikachu being at level 88). Likewise, it's been said that he is a prodigy, being able to defeat all of the Kanto Gym Leaders and the Indigo Plateau, all without aging in the slightest. He has caught all 150 of the Kanto Pokémon (with the exception of Mew).
As things stand at the moment, Ash can't hold a candle to Leon. He's perhaps the greatest trainer in the world, and his Gigantamax Charizard will be the most formidable challenge Ash has ever faced.

In The Ties That Bind and Can't Beat the Heat!, he battled Ash in an intense Full Battle. In the final round, Ash ended up winning the battle when his Charizard defeated Gary's Blastoise, eliminating him from the tournament.
